FEATURED CLUB: QUEENS PARK RANGERS
Queens Park Rangers, better known to fans and rivals as QPR, Rangers, or the Rs, formed in 1882. and later merged to form QPR in 1886, so-named because most of the players lived in nearby Queens Park. QPR turned pro in 1899 and moved in 1917 to a stadium on Loftus Road, their home for most of the years since. The stadium, built in 1904 but extensively modernised, is a compact venue with a seating capacity of just 18,439 — perfect for an exciting experience close to the pitch.
